60th Birthday Party October 11-13 
WJ Spartans,
We are pleased to announce the plans for the 60th Birthday Party for our WJ Class of 1977. We have planned a wonderful weekend of activities. This is our Big Six-Oh and it will be a blast! We hope everyone will come and have a great time! A list of who is attending is at the bottom of this page and will be updated regularly.
We are really excited about Saturday night's event at Hershey’s Restaurant & Bar in Gaithersburg. Classmates can order dinner from the menu (Hershey’s is famous for their fried chicken). Hershey's will be closed to the public for our event beginning at 8PM; classmates who plan to have dinner may wish to arrive at 6:30PM (Note: The kitchen will stay open until 11PM so dinner can be ordered after 8PM). Entertainment for the evening will be provided by a band comprised of several classmates playing music from the 70’s and 80’s. Of course, we will have a class birthday cake to commemorate all of us turning 60! There is an optional cover charge of $19.77 per person for which you get a $20 Hershey’s coupon to spend any way you want and a class 60th birthday cake. The window for the optional cover charge has closed,,, if you are coming, please RSVP... you won't get a Hershey's coupon or a t-shirt, but you can still come and have a great time!
We also have a block of rooms reserved at the Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center for anyone who wants to stay over Friday and/or Saturday nights. (The cutoff date for hotel reservations was September 11, 2019; the group rate is no longer available).

Friday October 11
Happy Hour 5:30PM – Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center. We will gather on the outdoor terrace overlooking the lake at the Marriott hotel adjacent to the RIO shopping/entertainment complex. Cash bar, full menu available, order & pay on your own. Don’t worry if it’s a bit chilly outside as we will have outdoor patio heaters. 9751 Washingtonian Boulevard Gaithersburg, Maryland. Saturday October 12
Winery Tour, 2PM-5PM (The winery tour has been cancelled). Classmates will meet at to-be-determined meeting point and drive to Sugarloaf Winery at Comus Mountain in Dickerson, MD. Options for lunch will be determined by those who attend. This is a pay-as-you-go activity.
60th Birthday Pre-event Dinner 6:30PM-8PM – Hershey’s Restaurant & Bar. Classmates interested in having dinner before the main event may order dinner from the menu. The kitchen will remain open until 11PM, so it’s also possible to have dinner during the main event which starts at 8PM.
60th Birthday Party Main Event 8PM until ??? – Hershey’s Restaurant & Bar. Hershey's, owned by WJ Class of 1982 alumnus Lisa Gorman, is situated in an historic house set off the beaten path in Gaithersburg. The entire restaurant will be closed for our private event beginning at 8pm. There is an optional charge of $19.77 for which you get a $20 Hershey’s coupon to spend any way you want, and a class 60th birthday cake. (If you choose to not pay the cover charge, you will not receive anything and simply pay-as-you-go). In addition, there are a limited number of t-shirts available for purchase for $10 each. Our class 60th Birthday is quite a milestone and our 60th Birthday Party will be very special. Spread the word. We look forward to seeing everyone October 11-13!
